One of my favorite things to do is enjoy a great meal with friends and family, whether it be Sunday brunch with the girls, family dinner out, or a coffee date with a new client. Port Orchard has such a great variety of fun restaurants and food spots to enjoy. Keep reading to check out some of my all time favorites!

BEST PIZZA & KID FRIENDLY SPOT- SPIROS

Spiro’s Pizza & Pasta has been a staple in Port Orchard for over 35+ years. This family-owned spot serves up fresh made pizza and a variety of other Greek-Italian dishes. The majority of their food, from their pizza dough to their sauces and desserts, are made fresh in house daily. This is such a great spot to bring the whole family, is very kid-friendly, and is a favorite local spot to celebrate a birthday at.

BEST AMBIANCE & PLACE TO BRING OUT OF TOWNERS- WHISKEY GULCH COFFEE PUB

This rustic, waterside cafe is the perfect spot to grab a cup of coffee, an artisan sandwich or craft beer and look out over the beautiful Puget Sound. With an ever rotating menu of drinks and delicious food, you and your guests are guaranteed to find something tasty you will all enjoy. It is also a great venue to host private parties like birthdays, anniversaries & more!

BEST PLACE TO GRAB A BEER AND HANGOUT WITH OR WITHOUT KIDS- YOKED FARMHOUSE & BREWERY

This multi-family owned farmhouse & brewery’s mission is to support their community and local businesses by sourcing local, being self-sustaining, and promoting organic culture. Enjoy an ever changing menu of signature and seasonal brews on tap, as well as seasonal food made with ingredients fresh from their farm. Check out their event calendar for weekly events!

BEST ITALIAN FOOD & DATE SPOT- COSMOS

Cosmos is a cozy little Italian restaurant and delicatessen offering classic Italian fare in their small restaurant, as well as to-go meals and ingredients from their delicatessen. Sit and enjoy a meal prepared for you off of their enticing menu, or purchase your own ingredients to whip up a delicious Italian meal for an at home date night.

BEST GIRLS NIGHT OUT - HOLY WATER

This quaint 21+ spot is full of so many unique spaces. Located within a former church, this “heavenly” lounge features both indoor & outdoor spaces to enjoy. Fun cocktails, tasty food, and good vibes. The ideal ingredients to a perfect night out with the girls.

BEST HANGOVER BREAKFAST & BLOODY MARY - HI JOY BOWL

I know a bowling alley probably isn’t the first place you think of going the Saturday morning after a long night out, but trust me on this one. Hi Joy Bowling Alley’s weekend brunch menu is full of all the classic breakfast items we know and love. From omelettes to pancakes to biscuits & gravy, there is guaranteed to be something on the menu to help cure any hangover. Don’t forget to order one of their famous bloody mary’s, full of vitamins and electrolytes to help you feel back to yourself in no time... and ready for round two Saturday night!

BEST SEAFOOD & DATE NIGHT- BAY STREET BISTRO

Located on Bay Street in the heart of historic downtown Port Orchard, this 21+ trendy, fine- dining spot makes the perfect spot for an intimate date night dinner. Mentioned in many publications, this higly-rated restaurant offers attentive service in an intimate, relaxed setting. Savor delicious tapas, mouth watering entrees, and sinfully delightful desserts.

BEST BRUNCH - PENINSULA BEVERAGE CO.

Enjoy the creative breakfast menu selection from this family owned taproom, bottle shop & restaurant with gorgeous waterfront views! Get the best of the PNW with their Dungeness Crab Eggs Benedict, or try their one of a kind Dankwich! Can’t decide which flavor mimosa to get? Order their famous mimosa flight to sip and savor their every changing menu of mimosa flavors. This is the perfect spot for a summer brunch!

BEST BREAKFAST - UNCLE DAVE’S

When it comes to breakfast, you can never go wrong with a classic breakfast diner, and Uncle Dave’s is just that. This down-home diner features all the best breakfast classics - from egg scrambles to pancakes to chicken fried steak. But they are best known for their absolutely mouth watering biscuits & gravy. In fact, they have been making their biscuits fresh in house daily for over 25 years, and they have won the title of Best of South Kitsap Breakfast/Brunch 7 times! I promise you won’t be disappointed stopping by Uncle Dave’s next time you are on the look out for a great brunch spot.

BEST COFFEE - COFFEE OASIS

You can’t spell breakfast without coffee! This coffee spot is more than just your local corner coffee store. 100% of their proceeds go to helping youth programs that were developed through The Coffee Oasis organization to help offer support, guidance, counseling, housing and more to youths experiencing homelessness. Not to mention that their coffee is ethically sourced, and is even roasted right next door in Bremerton to ensure quality and freshness! Stop in soon next time you are on your way to work and help support this business and all they are doing for our community!

BEST PLACE FOR A SWEET TOOTH - CARTER AND COMPANY

A sweet tooth lover’s paradise! Appropriately nicknamed “The Happiest Place in Town”, this dessert shop serves up a generous variety of sweets from handmade chocolates, ice cream, cakes, pies, tarts & more. All made fresh in house, there is something for everyone to enjoy here!

BEST FISH & CHIPS - BLUE OCEAN

You can’t live in the PNW and not know where to find the best fish & chips in the area! This simple dining space offers a huge menu of fresh fried seafood, burgers, and even Asian inspired dishes like pho & noodles! Something for everyone here, and a great place to bring the whole family.

BEST SUSHI - MANA SUSHI

Enjoy classic Japanese dishes here like sushi, teriyaki, noodles & more! Generous portions, and a huge assortment of menu items to choose from. This is a great place to grab take out or dine in!

BEST CHINESE & KARAOKE SPOT - GOLDEN GRILL ON THE BAY

Enjoy traditional Chinese classics at this fun, waterfront setting. Complete with cocktail bar, billiards table and even karaoke, this is a great spot to bring your family & friends for both food and fun!

BEST BAR - BRICKHOUSE TAVERN

Come for the food, and stay for the fun atmosphere! This industrial style tavern right on Bay Street serves up classic pub grub, unique drinks, and live music! Sit inside, or bring your pup and enjoy the pet-friendly outdoor patio space, perfect for summer nights with friends.

BEST PLACE TO WATCH A SPORTING GAME - CLUBHOUSE GRILL

Come enjoy McCormick Woods Golf Club at the Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar. Enjoy spectacular views of the course out of the floor to ceiling windows with multiple places do dine and drink. Sit out on the large patio in the warmer months, or cozy up next to the fire inside during the winter. A large bar space serves up an assortment of great drinks to enjoy while watching your favorite team win on the big screens!

BEST MEXICAN & AMBIANCE - PUERTO VALLARTA

Puerto Vallarta Mexican restaurants are iconic here in Washington State. Serving up the best traditional Mexican fare with more than generous portions, you can never go wrong here. A never-ending menu offers so much variety to choose from. From burritos bigger than your head, to their tasty margaritas, this is such a fun, vibrant spot to celebrate with friends, family or coworkers.

BEST BURGER - THAT ONE PLACE

That One Place is so much more than just a simple diner. Serving up breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, appetizers, entrees, desserts, drinks & more in more than generous portions. A large menu with a huge variety of delicious items to choose from like their giant pancakes or their incredibly tall burgers. Such a fun space to enjoy great food with great people.

BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN - BIRRIERIA TIJUANA

This is my favorite spot for true, authentic Mexican food! Delicious tacos, burritos, soups & more. Perfect spot to grab a quick bite of super flavorful food.

BEST PIZZA - BROOKLYN PIZZERIA

You can never go wrong with pizza, and Brooklyn Pizzeria is one of the best! Whether you are wanting a classic slice, or something a bit more unique, they have it all. Pair with a salad, wings and a soda and you have a quick, easy meal to satisfy the whole family.
